How Quickly Things Change
I moved to the new place with a suitcase and a half. Over the next three or so months I needed more stuff. Simplifying living was too idealized to keep up in reality. As is most things in my life, it all turned out fine though. I'll now be moving once, not twice, since the new place that I signed up for decided to stay where it's roots were grown.
In my haste to feel like I had some things figured out I purchased Car. Within a few weeks of putting the car online I was able to sell Car.
I spent money and time and stress shipping Boxes from there to home. Now, Boxes from there have made it here.
In my move, I swapped out no family for a nearby sister who I thought was temporary. Now, I get to continue keeping a Sister but I leave an Aunt. I was excited to live by family in any capacity. It's something I forgot the value of while climbing ladders somewhat carefully and nearsightedly.
My life was there, my life was here planning to go to a new there, and now it's settled. It didn't happen quickly. The final decision seemed rather abrupt, but the windup took forever.
So, once upon a time, before I was going to move, I was going to start a list of things I loved about Boston. Now I can just keep it to things I love.
